Nutrition Services

I want to help you meet your health goals with a food and lifestyle first approach! Areas of focus include:

  • Gut Health - Identify root cause of gut related symptoms and inflammation. Optimize gut microbiome.

  • Blood Sugar Management - Balance blood sugars with food pairing, meal planning and timing.

  • Hormone Balance - Balance sex hormones, troubleshoot period problems, improve symptoms of PCOS and Endometriosis.

  • Reproductive health - Prepregnancy planning, optimize fertility.

  • Cholesterol and Micronutrient Management - Improve lab values and address nutrient deficiencies that might be impacting your hormonal and overall health.

I will use coaching, nutrition education, meal planning, and testing as needed to help you improve your health. This includes lifestyle coaching to improve essential lifestyle habits that impact inflammation and hormones.

Initial Nutrition Assessment/Counseling

A 60-90 minute session via a video conference / telehealth call to assess your health goals and concerns, medical history, current eating patterns and essential lifestyle habits necessary to stay well. This includes nutrition education, goal setting, and a management plan.  A customized 30-day meal plan is included with your initial consult. A 60-90 minute session in office or via a telehealth call to assess your goals, current nutrition, medical history, and lifestyle habits that may impact fertility. Pregnancy Nutrition Counseling

The critical 1000 refers to the days between conception and a child’s second birthday. Pregnancy nutrition and wellness is critical to growth and development of your little one.  Nutrient deficiencies and high stress can impact a child's lifelong health and brain development. We will discuss critical nutrients and healthy habits to improve overall wellness. You will learn how to nourish yourself, to have a safer, less complicated pregnancy, what nutrients boost your baby’s brain development, and how to choose the best prenatal vitamins with the most bioavailable nutrients. This is a 60-90 minute session and includes goal setting and meal/lifestyle planning. Follow- Up Visits

Each Follow-up session is a 30 minute visit in-person or via telehealth to review your plan and previous goals along with continued instruction and support. These visits are a great way to build on the knowledge gained from our initial sessions and to fine-tune your program.

Meal Plans

Get 30 days of a customized meal plan that meets your nutritional needs as a stand alone package or part of your nutrition care plan. You’ll never have to ask, “What should we eat?” ever again. Weekly intuitive eating Journal Review

Weekly intuitive eating journal reviews are available to clients who have completed an Initial Consultation.  I can review your journal weekly and offer feedback to help meet your goals via telephone or e-mail.

Nourishwell workshop

A virtual workshop series of video and audio modules, worksheets, and journal prompts that is intended to empower you with body acceptance and peace with food while encouraging healthy lifestyle habits that will improve overall health and make you feel good from the inside out. There are 5 modules covering body acceptance, nourishment, enjoyable movement, rejuvenating sleep, and mindfulness for stress relief. Each module has a short video discussion, a worksheet to help develop a plan, and daily journal prompts to help you commit to healthier habits and feel good about your body. Additional sheets and audio guides can be used to help with hunger assessment, mindful eating and relaxation as needed. Complete one module per week to make long lasting change in each element and feel great in the body you have. $35

INSURANCE INFORMATION

I am a network provider for many Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and United Healthcare plans. If you have one of these plans, nutrition consults or classes are often covered. Call your insurance company to verify if you have benefits for nutrition counseling.

For all other insurance companies, I can provide a receipt for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. I cannot guarantee reimbursement.

Travel

If I must travel more than 25 miles to reach a home, there will be a minimal travel fee of $25 to cover gas and time.
